The Locomotive Pub and Restaurant is situated on the Lyminster Road, which is the main cut-through between Arundel and Littlehampton (A284), it also links the A27 with the A259. It is a lovely area to be in with lovely countryside with horses and chickens etc…

The Locomotive is a large pub dating back to the 1800s; it has a lot of character being built of flint. We offer a very large car park and a lovely big pub garden which is all fenced and gated making it a very safe place for your children to be. A play area for your children is currently under construction. We also have a large, covered and lighted smoking area with plenty of seating for those of you who wish to smoke. Once inside the pub after you have been served with your drinks you can enjoy a game of pool, bar billiards or darts.

We have our very own darts team who play on a Monday, bar billiards on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays and 2 pool teams who play on a Thursday. We also recently have a loci football team who play every Monday. Anyone is welcome to join these teams, so if you are interested please do ask at the bar.

Our friendly team of staff will always do their upmost to welcome you and ensure that your day or evening spent at the Locomotive will be a happy and memorable experience that you will want to repeat time and time again. If there is anything at all that you are unhappy with please don’t hesitate to mention it, and again if you have any ideas or suggestions we will be only too happy to listen to you.

Throughout the year we offer live music, discos, karaoke, themed food nights, barbecues (weather permitting) etc… We have a designated children’s room at the back of the pub with plenty of toys, books and games available. There is a small function room available which holds about 30 people available for small parties (including kiddies tea parties) or business meetings etc. the larger function room holds 80 – 100 people,  and we can cater for your every need,  all kinds of buffets and meals catered for.
